LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA – September 30, 2026 – Resecurity®, a U.S.-based cybersecurity and intelligence company protecting Fortune 100 companies and government agencies worldwide, will participate in AFRIDEX 2026, the Africa International Defense Exhibition, taking place October 26–29 at Heliconia Park in Eko Atlantic City, Lagos, Nigeria.
Resecurity is officially listed among the exhibition’s 2026 participants and as an exhibitor within the dedicated Cyber Domain, which brings together technologies and expertise focused on cyber resilience, security operations, incident response, data protection, secure communications, critical infrastructure, and operational readiness.
AFRIDEX 2026 is the inaugural edition of the Africa International Defense Exhibition. Held under the patronage of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and hosted by the Defense Industries Corporation of Nigeria (DICON), the event is designed as a multi-domain defense and security platform spanning Land, Maritime, Air, Cyber, and Space. It will bring together government decision-makers, armed forces leadership, capability planners, defense companies, technology providers, and official delegations from Africa and international markets.
Unlike a traditional technology exhibition, AFRIDEX is structured around capability development, operational readiness, interoperability, and cooperation between governments, armed forces, and industry. Its program includes an international exhibition, live capability demonstrations, a hosted delegation program, national and international pavilions, and a strategic defense and security conference.
At AFRIDEX, Resecurity will highlight its capabilities in cyber threat intelligence, threat actor analysis, digital risk monitoring, dark web intelligence, and AI-assisted investigation. These capabilities are designed to give defense and security organizations greater visibility into hostile activity developing beyond their own networks and provide analysts with the context needed to assess threats, investigate adversaries, and support operational decisions.
The company’s intelligence platform supports the analysis of threat actors, malware, compromised infrastructure, data breaches, underground communities, and other sources relevant to cyber investigations. Resecurity also works across endpoint protection, fraud prevention, digital forensics, and risk management, combining internal and external security data to support both tactical investigations and broader security programs.
AFRIDEX’s Cyber Domain places particular emphasis on the resilience of critical services and mission environments. Its program covers cyber risk governance, security operations and incident response, secure communications and identity, data protection, supply-chain security, and the resilience of operational technology and critical infrastructure. The exhibition also brings national cybersecurity agencies, defense and security cyber leadership, procurement stakeholders, integrators, technology suppliers, and training organizations into the same program.
“Modern defense capability depends increasingly on the security of the digital systems behind communications, command, logistics, intelligence, and critical infrastructure,” said Shawn Loveland, CEO of Resecurity. “AFRIDEX recognizes that cyber is part of the operational environment, not a separate issue. We look forward to sharing our experience in cyber intelligence and discussing how better threat visibility, advanced analytics, and timely intelligence can help defense and security organizations identify adversary activity earlier and strengthen operational resilience.”
The broader AFRIDEX program reflects a growing focus on sovereign capability and long-term security capacity across the continent. The 2026 Strategic Conference, scheduled for October 27–28, will operate under the theme “Advancing Africa’s Sovereign Security Capability Through Innovation and Industrial Growth,” examining capability development, resilient supply chains, training-led readiness, and industrial growth across all five operational domains.
For Resecurity, participation in AFRIDEX also builds on existing cybersecurity engagement across Africa. In 2025, the company entered into a cooperation agreement with AfricaCERT focused on cyber threat intelligence sharing, capacity building, and incident response, including support for national-level threat monitoring and digital investigations across the continent.
As African governments continue to strengthen digital infrastructure and national security capabilities, cyber resilience has become closely connected with the protection of public services, critical infrastructure, military systems, and the wider digital economy. AFRIDEX provides Resecurity with a focused environment to engage with defense and security stakeholders working on those requirements and to demonstrate how intelligence-driven cybersecurity can support national and operational resilience.
