Alongside Raff Military Textile, the Turkish national pavilion will feature some of the country’s top defense giants: Aselsan, ASFAT, Baykar, Havelsan, MKE, Nurol, Otokar, Roketsan, and Sarsılmaz for the SYSDEF 2025 exhibition and conferences.
SYNERGIE SURETE, DEFENSE & SECURITE (SYSDEF) is a major event organized since July 2023 in Burkina Faso. International in scope, the show is aimed at professionals working directly or indirectly in the fields of Defence, Security, Security and Civil Protection.
These companies showcase Turkey’s engineering excellence and high-capacity production in the defense sector.
Within this powerful ecosystem, Raff Military Textile plays a key role as a specialized provider of uniforms, tactical gear, and mission-focused solutions for military and security institutions.
This year’s SYSDEF involves a number of activities for three days including Conferences, Expos, demonstrations, Hackathon, as well as B2B Meetings.
Raff’s participation in SYSDEF 2025 is part of a strategy to consolidate its regional presence. The objective is to initiate new partnerships in Burkina Faso and neighboring countries, while helping to strengthen local capacities through joint projects, technical training, and exchanges of expertise.
Eray Yükseloğlu, CEO of the company, stated: “We are proud to participate in SYSDEF 2025. Our aim is to further deepen our strong ties with Africa by offering robust and tailored solutions for local forces.”
Another key development being presented at this year’s event is the strategic partnership between Repkon and Raff Military Textile.
This collaboration is focused on expanding the export of firearms and ammunition systems to African markets. Combining Repkon’s advanced engineering with Raff’s operational field experience, the two firms are offering next-generation solutions tailored for the region’s evolving defense needs.
This alliance marks a significant step in Turkey’s growing presence in Africa—not only in uniform and gear supply, but also in the delivery of cutting-edge defense technologies.
Türkiye’s defense industry shows no signs of slowing down. The government is investing heavily in next-generation technologies, including artificial intelligence, autonomous systems, and advanced missile defenses, to maintain its competitive edge.
Projects like the development of hypersonic missiles and expanded UAV capabilities signal a future where Türkiye not only meets its own needs but also shapes global defense trends. As it navigates a complex geopolitical environment, Türkiye’s commitment to self-sufficiency and strategic collaboration underscores its emergence as a pivotal player in international security.
