SecPro expands into Ivory Coast, signs MoU with Avianet

Nigeria’s defence and armour company SecPro Africa Ltd is expanding it’s footprint across Africa, by establishing it’s presence in Ivory Coast to handle business in all the francophone West African Countries.

SecPro has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Avianet Consulting, a global military solutions provider and security consultant.

Secpro’s Managing Director, Dr. Gianni Di Gregorio, welcomed the CEO of Avianet, Mr. Donald Djobo at SecPro Africa Office in Abuja.

This new partnership will lead to a strengthening of SecPro’s presence in Cotè d’Avoire, while Avianet will be widely represented in Nigeria for the aviation maintenance and pilot training in Nigeria.

In the agreement which also provides for the presence in Cotè d’Avoire of the representation of ATMILL Solutions and ELIGROUP Defense & Security, in order to explore new markets in the West Africa.

The Managing Director, Dr. Gianni Di Gregorio, welcomed the CEO of Avianet, Mr. Donald Djobo at SecPro Africa Office in Abuja, where they discussed the promotion and the partnership of the two companies in the region.

A great success for all the companies involved that will lead to common benefits in the development of new military technologies.

SecPro Africa Ltd supplies and produces comprehensive law enforcement, military and security products, solutions and consulting services.

The company’s portfolio boasts of bespoke armoured police and military vehicles to B7, VPAM and STANAG 4569 specifications.

This includes SP-ATV750, SecPro-SOV 4X4, SP-MRAP, SP-APC, and SecPro-TT 6X6.

The 2S25M Sprut-SDM1 is a modernized version of the 2S25 Sprut-SD self-propelled anti-tank gun designed and manufactured by the Russian defense Company Tractor Plants. The 2S25M was specially designed to be used by the Russian airborne troops as an anti-tank vehicle. The modernization of the 2S25 increases reliability and improves technical characteristics by unification with BMD-4M chassis components. According to a representative of Russian defense contractor Tractor Plants, the firepower of the 2S25M Sprut-SDM1 air-droppable self-propelled anti-tank gun is on par with that of the T-90MS main battle tank.
