On February 7, 2024, the global manufacturer of tactical simulators for military training based on laser technologies, SKIFTECH, participated in the National Guard USA Middle Planning Conference Industry Integration Event. SKIFTECH is a Ukrainian manufacturer of
tactical simulators for military training based on laser technologies with a head office in Orlando (USA).

SKIFTECH is collaborating with the US Department of Energy and provides tactical training simulators for servicemen serving at nuclear power plant facilities, conducting regular exercises for military personnel.

At the National Guard USA Middle Planning Conference Industry Integration Event, SKIFTECH presented new developments in tactical simulators, including new developments in tactical simulators, including Stinger MANPADS, RPG, AGL (analogue of Mk 19 grenade launcher), SPG (analogue of Pvpj 1110), SPAAG (analogue of Gepard), and the new generation of simulator – Individual Weapon System (IWS).

The manufacturer received a
request for the development of these simulators from the Ukrainian military.

According to Ukrainian instructors, thanks to the training on SKIFTECH military simulators, the mortality rate of soldiers on the battlefield has been reduced by more than 30%.

Currently, SKIFTECH military simulators are present on every training ground in Ukraine.
The success of these military simulators, leading to over a 30% reduction in casualties, attests to the high effectiveness and importance of such innovative technologies in military training.

The presence of SKIFTECH military simulators on every training ground in Ukraine emphasizes their widespread implementation and recognition by the country’s armed forces. This technology becomes a key element in enhancing combat readiness and training for military personnel, contributing to improved safety and success in military operations on the battlefield.

These results underscore the importance of innovation in military equipment and indicate a
commitment to modern training methods to enhance military efficiency.

SKIFTECH delivers advanced combat training simulators to reconnaissance units, special forces, national guardsmen, and other units of the Ukrainian military, with training conducted in several dozen locations under field conditions. Battle recordings can be reviewed for error
correction.

SKIFTECH’s new innovation, the AGS-17, is designed to target enemy personnel and weaponry, including those positioned outside of cover, in open trenches, and behind natural terrain features such as ravines, gullies, and on the reverse slopes of heights.

Military training on the SKIFTECH tactical simulators, according to company’s prognoses, has already involved over 30,000 servicemen in Ukraine. The new development, the tactical simulator AGS-17, has been adopted by the Armed Forces of Ukraine for training grenade launcher operators in firing from an automatic tripod-mounted grenade launcher. Training on the simulator is conducted without the use of live ammunition. Currently, the first assembly of the grenade launcher is undergoing testing and utilizing by the Ukrainian military.

The tactical simulator of the AGS-17 grenade launcher allows the formation of skills in target
detection and identification, determination of their characteristics, aiming, determining the moment of the shot, and actual firing. It also provides the opportunity for analysis – evaluating shooting results, practicing coordination of combat calculations under conditions close to combat.

Thanks to the built-in positioning module in the military training simulator, which collects all necessary data during the shooting simulation and sends them to the server for calculating the projectile hit location, training on the AGS-17 simulator is conducted without using real
combat projectiles.

All their innovative developments were presented by SKIFTECH on February 7 at the Middle Planning Conference Industry Integration Event in the USA. The event was organized by the National Defense Operations Center (NADWC) in collaboration with the Northern Strike training course. The event provides an opportunity for global leaders in the military industry to demonstrate their capabilities to the leadership of the National Guard units, showcase the latest technologies, and develop integration strategies with interested units and training planners.
