It appears that the Tanzania Air Force may have ordered for two H225 helicopters from Airbus Helicopters. The first of the two Airbus H225 transport helicopter was seen passing through Valencia, Spain, on 6 September and Faro, Portugal on 7 September.

A source close to Airbus Helicopters disclosed that the H225 helicopter was likely returned to the factory and will be delivered to a private operator in Tanzania, although Airbus Helicopters could not provide additional information.

The helicopter seen last month was identified by the test registration F-WWOT with the serial 5H-TAF taped over. ‘Tanzania Air Force’ was clearly written on the tail boom.
