As part of the United States ongoing efforts to combat terrorism, it has donated four Cessna 208 Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) aircraft to the Chadian and Cameroonian Air Force respectively.

The contract to reconfigure the aircraft was awarded to North American Surveillance Systems and L-3 communications in May 2016.

A spokesperson from United States African Command (AFRICOM) told Jane’s IHS that both countries have received aircraft.
