ROKETSAN is participating in ADEX, one of the major defence industry exhibitions in the South Caucasus and Central Asia, with its extensive product portfolio. Speaking at the exhibition about the future of cooperation between Türkiye and Azerbaijan in the defence industry, Murat İkinci, CEO of ROKETSAN, announced that AZROKSAN, ROKETSAN’s subsidiary in Azerbaijan, will commence production following the completion of its facility establishment process in the near future.
ROKETSAN is showcasing a wide range of products and systems addressing the diverse requirements of land, air and naval forces at ADEX, which is being held for the sixth time this year in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan. Having contributed to the defence capabilities of Azerbaijan with numerous systems delivered to the inventory of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces, ROKETSAN aims to further strengthen its cooperation with Azerbaijan at ADEX, taking place from 30 September to 2 October.
Commenting on ADEX 2026, Murat İkinci, CEO of ROKETSAN, stated that the strong bonds of brotherhood between Türkiye and Azerbaijan are being further strengthened in the defence industry with each passing day:
“We are witnessing significant momentum in the development of Azerbaijan’s defence industry in recent years. In particular, the Azerbaijani Armed Forces’ successful demonstration of their capabilities in the field following the Karabakh victory has been a concrete indicator of this progress. As ROKETSAN, we are addressing the requirements of different branches of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces with our advanced technology missile, rocket and munitions systems, contributing to and strengthening Azerbaijan’s defence capabilities.”
AZROKSAN to Commence Production Soon
Emphasising that ROKETSAN’s contribution to Azerbaijan’s defence extends beyond product supply, İkinci said:
“We do not see our cooperation in Azerbaijan’s defence industry as being limited to product supply. We attach great importance to contributing to the development of local production capabilities and further strengthening the strategic cooperation between our two countries. Our local production efforts through AZROKSAN, our subsidiary in Azerbaijan, are a significant part of this approach. Following the completion of the facility establishment process in the near future, we will initially commence the production of 122 mm rockets. From this perspective, we aim to expand the ROKETSAN product portfolio in the inventory of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces and to produce a wide range of different systems at the production facilities to be established in the future.”
İkinci added: “As ROKETSAN, we will continue to strengthen Azerbaijan, the Azerbaijani Armed Forces and Azerbaijan’s defence industry with our advanced technology products today and in the future, just as we have done in the past.”

Another new capability highlighted by ROKETSAN at ADEX 2026 is the CİRİT Anti-UAV Missile, which is being exhibited together with the PUSU Weapon System. Developed particularly to counter the threat posed by kamikaze UAVs on modern battlefields, the CİRİT Anti-UAV Missile demonstrated its effectiveness in the field by achieving a direct hit on an aerial target during a firing test conducted from PUSU.
Developed to protect maritime borders, the BARBAROS Coastal Defense System is also being showcased at the exhibition as a system combining high mobility with powerful strike capabilities. Operating with ATMACA and ÇAKIR Cruise Missiles, the system can respond rapidly to threats originating from the sea thanks to its mobile configuration. Capable of integration with different systems, BARBAROS stands out as a flexible coastal defence solution that can be configured according to user requirements.
Another product group highlighted by ROKETSAN at ADEX 2026 is its TEBER and LAÇİN Guidance Kits. While TEBER enhances the strike capabilities of MK-81 and MK-82 General Purpose Bombs, LAÇİN provides precision strike capabilities against fixed and moving targets through its imaging infrared seeker and datalink. Both systems introduce advanced guidance technologies to existing munitions infrastructure, enabling munitions to be used more effectively and precisely.
