HAVELSAN’s Digital Troops demonstrate the joint operational use of autonomous land, air, and sea systems—including BARKAN, BAHA and SANCAR respectively—through scenario-based interactive simulations.

As a technology pioneer of Türkiye’s defense industry, HAVELSAN is set to make a multidimensional impact at IDEF 2025. Participating across four key locations, HAVELSAN will  go beyond product demonstrations to present a forward-thinking vision under the theme “AI for Defence.”

This year, HAVELSAN’s presence at IDEF is not just about showcasing innovation but redefining how AI-oriented technologies will shape decision-making in the defence industry.

A Stage for System Intelligence: IFM Hall 6

At HAVELSAN’s main booth in Hall 6 of the Istanbul Expo Centre, HAVELSAN will introduce multi-domain command and control architectures, AI-driven decision support systems, manned-unmanned teaming and hybrid operational frameworks.

Among the featured technologies is the ADVENT Combat Management System product family, now integrated with HAVELSAN’s indigenous AI product, MAIN, which serves as a maintenance support assistant. Visitors will witness the system’s real-time voice command recognition, a first-of-its-kind demonstration that blends user interaction with operational efficiency.

Additionally, live systems, supportive presentations and mock-up displays will present subsurface command and control systems with complementary hardware along with joint/ land C4I solutions, integrated border security technologies, and next-generation e-maritime software—all designed to support multi-domain operations.

A New Approach to Simulation and Learning

HAVELSAN’s training solutions move beyond the conventional methods to deliver behaviour-based modelling. Desktop and VR-based platforms like Land Simulators, the ALTAY Tank VR Training System, and advanced simulators for land/sea/air domains together with EWTTR and firing ranges and medical simulators for militaries, will be featured prominently.

The ALTAY VR system, integrated with Metaquest 3 and a Large-screen display, offers a direct, realistic tank operation experience designed to enhance situational cognition and tactical readiness.

Coordinated Autonomy in Action through Digital Troops

HAVELSAN’s Digital Troops demonstrate the joint operational use of autonomous land, air, and sea systems—including BARKAN, BAHA and SANCAR respectively—through scenario-based interactive simulations. This setup illustrates not only a technological integration but the decisive impact of swarm capabilities and coordinated autonomy in complex environments.

Particularly notable will be the use of BAHA UAV, in the electronic warfare deployment concept of the offering a glimpse into strategic use cases of unmanned systems in contested domains.

Unmanned Systems at Sea: SANCAR and ZIPKIN will be the focus of interest

At Ataköy Marina, HAVELSAN will showcase its autonomous unmanned surface vehicle SANCAR and the Sentinel-class ZIPKIN Unmanned Surface Vessel. Developed in collaboration with VN Yachting company, ZIPKIN represents HAVELSAN’s ability to transfer complex autonomous capabilities to conventional platforms. These two autonomous unmanned platforms underscore the company’s deep expertise in systems integration, embedded software, and mission-specific autonomy competencies. Live demonstrations at sea will showcase the vessels’ ability to operate independently, respond to scenarios, and execute tasks with precision.

Bluevision: AI-Powered Maritime Awareness for the Civil Maritime

Also making its debut is Bluevision, HAVELSAN’s artificial intelligence-based navigation and decision support system tailored for civilian maritime use. Developed as a digital co-pilot for dynamic sea conditions, Bluevision processes real-time data from the maritime environment to deliver intuitive visual insights to operators. More than a navigation tool, Bluevision introduces a new level of situational awareness—offering civilian vessels an edge previously reserved for defence systems. Its appearance at IDEF 2025 marks HAVELSAN’s expansion of its high technology and intelligent solutions into the commercial maritime sphere.

HAVELSAN’s Strategic Presence Across Four Key Locations at IDEF 2025

1. Hall 6, Istanbul Expo Centre: Main exhibit area

2. Atatürk Airport Terminal C: Unmanned autonomous land, air, and sea systems

3. Atatürk Apron Chalet Area: Live platform demonstrations featuring BAHA, BULUT, BARKAN

4. Ataköy Marina: Live demos of autonomous surface platforms: SANCAR and ZIPKIN
