Exclusive coverage of Russia’s Military Technical Forum (Army Forum 2022)

More than 1000 pieces of weaponry and equipment will be showcased on the grounds of the ARMY Forum

At the backdrop of the current Russo-Ukrainian conflict, Europe’s largest country, and military power, Russia, is exhibiting and showcasing its mastery in defence equipment to a global audience.

The event, Military Technical Forum (Army Forum 2022), will take place between the 15th and 21st at the Patriot Expo in Moscow.

As a significant media partner, Military Africa will have exclusive access to the exhibition grounds and conference venues.

Visitors can take extraordinary photographs and sit on top of many modern combat vehicles, including MBTs, IFVs, APCs and many others!

The Army 2022 event will feature dozens of multi-role simulators to provide visitors with experience handling modern weapons and combat equipment. Thus, this is an exotic opportunity to operate military vehicles and assess all the power of modern Russian weaponry.

“In 2022, more than 1000 pieces of weaponry and equipment will be showcased on the grounds of the ARMY Forum, and Rosoboronexport will exhibit 200+ modern Russian export-oriented products for all services of the armed forces as part of its exhibit display,” said Alexander Mikheev, Director General of Rosoboronexport.

“Invited foreign partners of the company, representatives of various law enforcement agencies can get acquainted in detail with the weapons and military equipment of interest to them which are offered by Rosoboronexport on the world market. We will hold meetings and negotiations, expect to sign a number of important contracts and agreements with foreign customers and Russian manufacturers.”

Visitors will be able to get acquainted with the T-14 Armata MBT, Sprut-SDM1 light amphibious tank, K-17 Boomerang wheeled infantry fighting vehicle, Medved and Tigr wheeled armored vehicles in various versions, as well as the Tor-E2 SAM system and the RB-504P-E Silok EW system which have proved effective against unmanned aerial vehicles.

Aviation lovers are not left out, as the Russian Air Force will simulate aerial warfare. A static display of Russian Air Force aircraft will be deployed at the AF compound (Kubinka airfield).
A vivid air show will also be performed by the “Golden Eagle”, “Swifts” and “Russian Knights”, famous Russian aerobatics teams.

Likewise, a spectacular performance of airborne paratroopers will supplement the air show to thrill visitors.
