After signing a partnership agreement to manufacture surveillance drones, French AERACCESS and Nigeria’s Proforce has signed a memorandum of understanding to create a “Drone Academy” and build a drone production line in Nigeria.

Arnaud FLORIS, regional manager for West, Central and North Africa of Bpifrance, Colonel Guillaume DUJON, Defense Attaché of the French Embassy in Nigeria and Mr. Igor CHLAPAK, Director of Business France in Nigeria we’re present at the signing.
It will allow the creation of a “Drone Academy”, a training center dedicated to the training of users in the use of these drones in partnership with the Nigerian ministries concerned. This agreement will be reinforced in the coming days by another contract being signed between AERACCESS and the Nigerian authorities.
Bpifrance is financing the project through an export credit (buyer credit) which is a key element for the signature of the contract since it will allow the Nigerian client company to benefit from a credit of up to €25 million.
Bpifrance, in partnership with Business France and in close relation with the Ministry of the Armed Forces, the Ministry of the Interior, the General Directorate of Armaments (DGA) and the Directorate of International Security Cooperation (DCIS), AERACCESS also had the opportunity to present its UAV solutions for the fields of surveillance, agriculture, oil and gas, but also for the civilian and industrial markets to the authorities, public agencies and local companies.
Aeraccess drone products are mostly quadcopter-based classes, and they include palm-sized NanoHawk, HawkEye MK I, HawkEye MK II, HAWKER Q800X, and the SPARROWHAWK.
Aeracess also designs tailored ground controlled stations, as well as a wide range of ISR payload solutions.
Last month, Proforce Intelligence Systems Limited, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure (NASENI) on the advancement in the field of science and technological advancement.
Proforce, incorporated in 2008 specializes in Manufacturing of Armoured Personnel Carriers (APCs), MRAPs, CITs and so on.
