Senegalese Air Force Mil Mi-24 returns from Poland after refurbishment

A Senegalese Air Force Mil Mi-35 Hind attack helicopter

Two refurbished Mil Mi-24 ‘Hind’ assault helicopter belonging to the Senegalese Air Force has recently been transferred back to the country. The two Mil Mi-24 gunship helicopters was overhauled by the Polish Military Aviation Work No 1 (WZL-1). The pair of helicopters was delivered to Dakar using an Antonov An-124 Heavy transport aircraft on 30th, November 2017.

Three Mil Mi-24 hind helicopters sold by a private Polish company to the Senegalese Armed Forces. First overhauled Mi-24 helicopter was delivered to Africa in January this year.
